Strawberry French Toast
For 4 people ---- for additional people increase ingredients.
1 loaf of baguette bread
1 1/2 cup of half and half
1 can strawberry pie filling
Strawberry syrup / maple syrup
Slice baguette bread in approximately one inch thick slices - three or four slices per person
Pour milk in bowl
Put 3 eggs and 1 yolk in another bowl and beat eggs
Roll slice of 1" thick bread in milk and then roll in egg mixture until bread is well coated
Place little olive oil in skillet over medium heat and place toast in skillet adding a dash of nutmeg to the top of each slice of toast
Brown toast on both sides
Remove and blot with paper towels
Repeat until all toast is fried, stack on plate and place in warming oven for approx. 30 minutes
Spread a thin layer of Philadelphia cream cheese on bottom of each slice of toast.
Stack 3 or 4 slices of toast on dinner plate in circle over lapping the slices slightly.
Place three or four large spoons of strawberry pie filling around slices and sprinkle toast and plate with white powdered sugar.
Top with whipped cream.

3/4 cup of half and half
Package of frozen broccoli
Four green onions
1 cup of shredded four-brand cheese
3/4 cup mushrooms
Pre heat oven to 350
In bowl beat 4 eggs and 3/4 cup of half and half milk
Microwave frozen broccoli for 4 minutes, remove and put on strainer, cool with cold water.
Squeeze out all the liquid and place in the egg and milk mixture.
Chop white portion of green onions and put in mixture.
Add 3/4 cup of mushrooms and mix.
Add 1 cup of shredded cheese to mixture.
Blend well and pour in Pam coated baking ramekins.
Place ramekins on a cookie sheet and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Remove quiche from ramekin and place on dinner plate.
Serve with hash browns and 3 slices of bacon.
